Instructions:
1.
Use Photoshop to open your file.
2. Go to File > Import.
3. Select Epson Expression 10000XL.
4. Place image face down inside the scanner (for transparencies set
the white pad in the lid).
5. Document type: reflective.
6. Select film type.
7. 24 bit for color.
8. Select preview so you can line up your image.
9. Use the marquee tool to select your scan area.
10. Press Scan.
11. Images are imported into photoshop and may be manipulated and
saved there.
Accepted Resolutions
for Common Uses:
-
300 dpi for publication
- 150
dpi for powerpoint
- 72
dpi for web
Remember: it
is always better to go with a higher resolution. A high resolution
image can be reduced later but a low resolution can not be increased
without losing image quality.
