Glossary of terms in the files

'Promoter' refers to an intergenic region that usually flanks the most-upstream transcriptional start site (array description). It has been assigned a name based on the LocusLink standard for that gene.

'p-value' and 'ratio' are the combined values for replicate experiments for each of the factors tested, values calculated using our error model, as described here.
